Established in 1979, FSNL is a long-standing enterprise that has supported the steel industry for over 40 years as a government-owned slag and scrap processing company. One of the largest companies in the industry, FSNL specializes in the processing, metal recovery, and sorting of slag (a byproduct) generated during the steelmaking process at steel mills as well as the recycling of scrap metal. India’s crude steel production capacity is expected to double from 150 to 300 million tons by 2030, and all steelmakers are planning significant increases in production.
