Since its establishment in Myanmar in 2012 after the country became a democracy, Konoike Myanmar Co., Ltd. has built up its track record in numerous large projects. This includes a hydro power plant project that was the first project implemented in Myanmar by the Japanese government after reestablishment of the ODA in Myanmar. In 2016 we established an exclusively owned new company in the Thilawa SEZ, Myanmar’s first special economic zone located in its largest city Yangon. In 2017 we opened a general and bonded warehouse.
Myanmar has been attracting numerous foreign-owned companies, including companies from Japan. In the county, we, as a comprehensive logistics operator, have been acquiring an overwhelmingly level of support from our customers. Looking ahead, we will work to meet numerous and diverse needs and continue to provide our customers with services that go beyond their expectations.
