In April 2026, the Temperature Controlled Distribution Center of our group company Kyushu Sanko Unyu opened in Tosu City, Saga Prefecture. The center is equipped with an air-conditioned dangerous materials warehouse to support the storage of dangerous goods requiring temperature control.

Transportation
The KONOIKE Group transports a wide range of cargo, including industrial gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, and argon; city gases such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG); as well as various chemical products including liquid sulfur. Even for these specialized cargoes, we ensure reliable transportation while maintaining quality and safety through dedicated equipment and comprehensive safety management systems. The Group leverages our extensive experience and expertise to provide stable logistics services for cargo that requires advanced handling and management.

Storage
Our Miyagi Distribution Center is capable of storing Category IV hazardous materials (flammable liquids), including Class I, Class II, Class III, and Class IV petroleums. Furthermore, the KONOIKE GROUP has multiple facilities for storing a wide range of hazardous goods and related products such as engine oil, IJP ink, rust inhibitors, surfactants, chemical fertilizers, and BB fertilizers. Under appropriate safety management systems, we maintain storage environments compliant with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring logistics services that uphold both quality and safety.

Exports and Imports
We support the transportation of various dangerous goods to our customers’ overseas production facilities and international business partners. Products handled by the Group include a wide range of materials such as resins, paints, solvents, and adhesives, in forms including solids, powders, and liquids. We also support diverse forms of packaging, including drums, jerry cans, plastic containers, and paper bags. Moreover, the Group appropriately handles cargo with a variety of properties, such as flammable, combustible, oxidizing, radioactive, and corrosive substances. We flexibly accommodate shipments ranging from large single lots to small lots. We also support the increasing demand for small-lot, small-volume, and high-mix shipments in recent years.

Testing and maintenance of gas-related facilities
We provide a wide range of testing and maintenance services for gas-related facilities at city gas production sites. Our services include equipment maintenance and repair, environmental technology development such as testing of biogas generation systems, testing and evaluation of gas engines, and performance testing of gas air-conditioning systems.
