We provide integrated contract services, from the transportation and delivery of pharmaceutical products and medical equipment to the design, development and operation of distribution centers. While low-priced pharmaceutical products, such as generic drugs are on the increase, expensive medical products such as regenerative medical products are also emerging, causing bipolarization in the medical industry. In addition, the process of conforming with GDP* means that more importance is placed on ensuring quality logistics services than ever before. We build logistics systems to address this situation, drawing on our experience of more than 20 years in working at medical institutions. We achieve both cost reductions and high-level logistics quality.

By designing centers with the capacity for future expansion, they have a structure capable of adapting to change for fifteen years to come. We utilize our Group’s knowhow of hospital operations to design distribution centers based on the individual circumstances and requirement of the hospital.

Center operation using our own systems
We operate centers with a focus on efficiency. We adopt a flexible picking system that can select the optimum picking method for the distribution quantity. We also employ our own systems, KWMS and ABC-Navi* to visualize orders and monitor progress through each process. We decide the most suitable management system, giving way to improved productivity.

Secure transportation and delivery utilizing our knowhow as a logistics company
Harnessing our knowhow as a logistics company and our Group network, we provide secure and reliable transportation and delivery. We have built a network of dedicated medical vehicles to deliver to each operating base. We ensure thorough quality control. Utilizing our sales offices and Group network throughout Japan also allows us to design and manage transportation and delivery during natural disasters. Konoike also has in place effective BCP* measures.
